Listen to Radio With the Free Radio Garden Application
The Dutch institute for sound and vision is a key partner in the digital research project Radio Garden. The project is an initiative of the Transnational Radio Knowledge Platform, five European universities, and the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. It aims to narrow the boundaries of radio. What does this mean? Well, it means that radio can be experienced in new ways. It has the potential to improve our lives and help us to understand the world better. But what should we look for when listening to radio?
The app is free and available for iOS and Android devices, but does not play well with Brave browser. To listen to radio, just spin the globe, zoom into the green circle, and choose the radio station. The interface is similar to Google Earth, but you can also search by city or country. And the radio stations in those locations are all marked. Once you've found what you're looking for, you can also mark favorites or listen to stations from all over the world.
You can download the app from the Google play store or the app store. To install the app, simply open the application and tap on the "Install" button. You'll be prompted to accept some permissions, so you should be ready to go. Once you've accepted all the permissions, the app will begin downloading. You'll be notified when the download process is complete. You can also install the app directly through an emulator.
